本次活动由外教Rezen 和Jing Duenas两位女士整体设计，以“激发学习兴趣”为题在IEC 英语从教者之间开展互动，分享心得；以中外各一名一线教师主讲，其他教师分组讨论等形式展开，旨在让同一问题受到“中国式”和“国际范”的关怀，达成了英语教学互鉴互学，加深跨文化交流与理解的预期目标。

IEC English teaching seminar, 1st of its kind, was master-minded and exercised by Ms Rezen and Ms Jing Duenas, both being IEC International teachers. Under the topic of Motivating the Learners, English teaching practitioners of IEC had a lot of interactive moments, sharing their long-time accumulated expertise among themselves. This seminar was conducted in the form of one domestic teacher plus one international teacher, with the audience all active in discussion in small groups，so that the same issue can be  tackled from both the Chinese and international perspectives. This seminar has definitely achieved the intended goals of learning from each other and better cross-culture understanding of each other, in terms of English teaching as a foreign language.
